The history of the world must be told in another way, because women make up half of our history. There were women who created agriculture and cities. There were women who held together the homes while the men were killed at war. There were women who nurtured and transmitted the culture of their people. Over the centuries, women have been scientists, thinkers and artists. They have learned to fight against men who were hostile. They have managed to pave the way for their daughters and their granddaughters. They have voted in elections and shaped politics... All the while building the future in their own way. When we tell the story of one woman, we are telling the one of many others, and also the history of men. This Peruvian soap opera does just that, and is suitable for the whole family.
The series tells the story of four sisters - Beatriz, Josefina, Mercedes, and Amanda - who began a new life after the death of their father, while also exploring the problems that exist in Peru. Despite their differences, together they fight for their goals, the welfare of their family, and especially that of their mother, Vivana. Inspired by Louisa May Alcott's masterpiece Little Women, this version aims to inspire women today, and proves that whatever life deals you, you have to be strong and fight for your rights.

Because of a suggestion of a “santera”, she broke the baby’s fingers to mark her. Her daughter reincarnates in Celia. We move now into the 40’s. Celia has the opportunity to participate in a radio contest but Simon will do the impossible just to get his daughter away from the Havana. At the same time, Pedro is dealing with his womanizer’s reputation in the island; Lola is introduced as Celia’s best friend and as a person that has a tortuous relationship with her stepfather.SHARE: READ MORE April on Eva+
